Rovellats estate has existed for over 500 years, making cava for the last 3 generations. Meticulous work by hand in the vineyard and picking each parcel at optimum ripeness means that intervention in the cellar is able to be kept at an absolute minimum. 

The Valsangiacomo family have been making wine in Valencia since 1831. They have revived their mid-20th century branding for their Malvasia and their range of vermouths, making the range stylish both inside and outside the bottle

Vigna Lenuzza are a tiny family run organic winery in Friuli, right over the border from Slovenia run by husband and wife team Daniele and Tanika. They work with very small parcels of indigenous vines to make elegant varietal wines with great drinkability. 

Weingut Strehn are a fourth generation family winery right in the heart of Blaufrankisch country - Mittelburgenland. They are passionately committed to the promotion of the grape and make some lovely examples.

Making still white wines from Limoux and reds from near Maury, Pierre Fabre knows how to make opulent Chardonnay while still keeping it classy. Certified organic and biodynamic, these were a great find.

Garnacha from the Gredos Mountains is so exciting, it's such a wonderful vehicle for expressing differences in terroir. A new 'garagiste' project started in 2018, Rico Nuevo are one to watch

Winemaker Kristin makes organic wines in East Sussex near Rye using natural methods in the vineyards and modern technology in the winery. The estate blend sparkling uses a champagne blend plus Seyval Blanc and is as elegant as any grower champagne
